A Transportation Talisman (传送符, Chuánsòng Fú) is an item that allows the user to instantly travel up to hundreds of miles away at a high cost of spiritual energy.

Transportation talismans are dark blue talismans which, when sufficient spiritual energy is applied, will transport the user away from their current location. They are high quality items, but restricted in use due to the need for the user to expend a great deal of spiritual energy to use them.[1]
To use them, the user throws the talisman to the ground, which then emits blue flames that engulf the user and transport them away.[2]
In order to use a transportation talisman, a cultivator must first cultivate the transportation pathway.[3]

Transportation talismans are used twice during the events of the novel.
The first is when Xue Yang's body is removed shortly before his death in Yi City, presumably by Su She, who wished to obtain the Yin Tiger Tally from Xue Yang for Jin Guangyao.[4]
During the Second Siege of the Burial Mounds, Lan Wangji tricks Su She into exposing himself as the one who sealed his fellow cultivators' spiritual powers. Su She then uses another transportation talisman to escape.[5][2]
