Shuoyue (朔月, Shuòyuè) is Lan Xichen's sword.
Use[]
Lan Xichen uses Shuoyue to fly to Nightless City, where he finds Jin Guangyao in a nearby forest fleeing Nie Mingjue's enraged attack. Lan Xichen draws Shuoyue to defend Jin Guangyao, and apologizes to Nie Mingjue when he believes he must attack him to protect Jin Guangyao's life.[1]
At the Guanyin Temple, Lan Xichen reveals that his spiritual powers have been sealed, and Shuoyue will be no help.[2] Once he regains his powers, he uses Shuoyue to save Jin Guangyao from Nie Mingjue's Fierce Corpse. Later, he thrusts Shuoyue behind him to mortally wound Jin Guangyao. When he realizes he may have been tricked, Lan Xichen finds himself unwilling to pull the sword out to deal the killing blow, and repeatedly commands Jin Guangyao not to move. Jin Guangyao, however, pulls his body free from Shuoyue himself.[3]
