A Qiankun bag (乾坤袋, Qiánkūn dài) is a pouch able to hold more than it appears able to carry. It is used by cultivators to carry large items.
Description[]
Unlike a spirit-trapping bag, which can hold spiritual matter, a Qiankun bag can only hold physical matter.
A variation of the Qiankun bag is the Qiankun sleeve (乾坤袖, Qiánkūn xiù), which is a sleeve modified to hold larger items.[1]
Use[]
At Dafan Mountain, Wei Wuxian discovers a dropped Qiankun bag containing medicinal liquor, Talismans, and miniature demon-reflecting mirrors. The discovery of this bag enables him to locate a Ghost wandering the mountain, leading Wei Wuxian to discern the true nature of the soul-stealing entity.
Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian use multiple Qiankun bags to hold Nie Mingjue's severed body parts.[2] The Gravedigger attempts to steal one of these bags hanging from Wei Wuxian's side, but Wei Wuxian had already swapped his out for a spirit-trapping bag as a diversion.[3]
To facilitate his tendency to carry hidden weapons, Xue Yang modifies his right sleeve into a Qiankun sleeve, in which he hides Jiangzai. [1]
