The Final Eyes Summoning (点睛召将术, Diǎn Jīng Zhào Jiāng Shù) is a low-level Demonic Cultivation spell.[1]

Description[]

"Coy eyes and seductive wiles
red lips part to chase a smile.
Ask not of the good nor evil done;
with these final dots, let the warrior come."[1]

The Final Eyes Summoning involves summoning spirits to possess objects with painted eyes, such as Paper Effigies. The spirits summoned are strong enough to tear the arm off a Fierce Corpse.[1]

Use[]

While hiding from the horde of fierce corpses in Yi City, Wei Wuxian notices a blindfolded cultivator outside slowly overpowered by the sheer number of corpses. Wei Wuxian rescues the cultivator by using the Final Eyes Summoning on a pair of female effigies. The effigies efficiently fight off the corpses and bring the blind cultivator inside the funerary shop where Wei Wuxian and the junior disciples are hiding.[1]

After the cultivator warns them that more corpses are approaching, Wei Wuxian suspecsd that the paper effigies he animated will not hold out long enough. He alternates the runes on a few Talismans, he uses a different incantation to animate four additional paper effigies. He then sends them outside to deal with the fierce corpses.[2]

When the cultivator reveals himself to be Xue Yang masquerading as Xiao Xingchen, he explains that the level of power Wei Wuxian manifests while using the Final Eyes Summoning is what clued him in that "Mo Xuanyu" was actually none other than the Yiling Patriarch.[2]

Web Series Divergence[]

Rather than infuse objects with spirits, the Final Eyes Summoning merely allows its user to move extremely fast. In Yi City, Wei Wuxian invokes the Final Eyes Summoning on himself, so that he can venture outside and rescue the disguised Xue Yang in a flash.[3]

Trivia[]

"Eyes behind thy long lashes, lips parted, smiling in tease. Mind not the good or evil, with smeared eyes I summon thee."[1]
