Fang Mengchen (方梦臣, Fāng Mèngchén) is a minor character who participates in the Second Siege of the Burial Mounds.

History[]
Both of his parents were killed by Wei Wuxian; it is unclear whether this happened at Qiongqi Path, Golden Carp Tower, Nightless City, or another time. As a result, Fang Mengchen despises Wei Wuxian.[1]
Believing that the newly resurrected Wei Wuxian is responsible for the amassing of Fierce Corpses at the Burial Mounds, Fang Mengchen is among the people who gather together for a second siege. He confronts Wei Wuxian over his parents' deaths and declares that even if Wei Wuxian cannot remember, he will never forget.[1]
After the siege, Fang Mengchen becomes angered when another cultivator thanks Wei Wuxian for helping to save their lives. Fang Mengchen declares that he will not forgive Wei Wuxian, because Wei Wuxian can never atone for taking his parents. But after Wei Wuxian admits that the sins he had committed will stay in his mind, too, Fang Mengchen surrenders. While he does not let go of his grudge, he acknowledges that Wei Wuxian has saved him and rushes out of the Demon-Quelling Cave.[2]
Fang Mengchen is presumably among those who voyaged to Lotus Pier to recover.[3] He does not confront Wei Wuxian again, implying that he recognizes that Wei Wuxian is not the monster Feng Mengchen had believed him to be.
