A-Tong (阿通, Ā-Tōng) is a servant under the service of the Mo family.[1]
Appearance[]
The Novel does not describe his appearance.
Personality[]
Supposedly, A-Tong had treated Mo Xuanyu even worse than a beggar or a fly. All of the servants of the Mo family treated Mo Xuanyu poorly because he never resisted.[1]
History[]
A-Tong is in charge of preparing Mo Xuanyu's meals, although he is not happy with the task.[1]
After being resurrected into Mo Xuanyu's body, Wei Wuxian witnesses A-Tong flirting with A-Ding, another servant, while they discuss the dangerous situation with the Fierce Corpses around Mo Village.[1] In fact, he only assists the Demonic Left Arm's second victim, Madam Mo's husband, because A-Ding glares at him until he helps.[2]
He is the third victim of the Demonic Left Arm that attacks Mo Village; the arm transfers to him from Madam Mo's husband. The arm then forces him to strangle himself to death.[3] He was one of the four people Mo Xuanyu wished for Wei Wuxian to kill in revenge for abusing him.[3]
Relationships[]
A-Ding[]
A-Tong appears to be romantically interested in A-Ding. He flirts with her, and he abuses Wei Wuxian once he believes himself to have lost face by screaming louder than her.[1] Her glare to A-Tong is enough to motivate him to help Madam Mo's husband.[2]
Mo Xuanyu[]
A-Tong seems to have bullied Mo Xuanyu extensively, simply because he did not expect him to fight back.[1] As a result, he is one of the four people Mo Xuanyu targets for revenge when he summons Wei Wuxian.[3]
Trivia[]
- A-Tong is the only deceased member of the Mo household that Wei Wuxian does not raise into a fierce corpse.[3]
